I found this cute cameo on sale! I happened to have this ribbon, and thought it was a pretty good match to the orangey/gold color of the jewels on the necklace. I just put the cameo on, sewed up the ends of the ribbon, fed jump rings through, and attached a clasp. It took maybe 5 minutes, and turned out pretty well.

New things!
So the first new item is a necklace, as you can see. I got a bunch of quill pen tips on clearance, and thought they would look nice on jewelry, so this is my first attempt. First of all, I sanded off the tip, to make it a little less dangerous, then wrapped some wire around it, made a loop in the back, to put the cord through, put a couple of washers on, made a coils out of wire for decoration, made clasps, and voila! It was incredibly easy, and it’s a little different, which I like.
These are a couple of fingerless lace gloves. They came out a little puffier than expected, but they’re cute. It is just an elastic, satin ribbon and lace trim. Each one took about 3 minutes to make. The camera made the lace and ribbon look like two different colors, where in person they’re the same color.
